4. Data from Public Sources
The Service aggregates publicly available information from third-party sources, including RSS feeds from news publishers (such as TechCrunch, Sifted, and others) and filings from SEC EDGAR (public government data). This data is not personal information and is used solely to provide venture capital intelligence content.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies only. Specifically, we use Supabase authentication cookies to maintain your login session. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not serve targeted advertising or sell your data to advertisers.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your account and associated personal data.
